The Rotary Club of Sault Ste. Marie created a community celebration in 1922. Originally Rotary Community Night, the festivity consisted of a parade with hundreds of marchers and revelers all dressed in costume and a street dance. Today, ROTARYFEST, The Sault's Summer Festival, is a three-day celebration encompassing the tradition of Rotary Community Day with activities and attractions that will draw participation from outside our community as well as from within.
For over 90 years, the Rotary Club of Sault Ste. Marie has helped to create opportunities for family memories and civic pride. Rotarians are proud to be able to continue to make this city’s summer festival possible for the community who has been so supportive of the club's fund raising efforts for its charitable endeavours with youth throughout the year. But we can not do this without the support of corporations and businesses who sponsor the festival.
