THIS I SHALL DEFEND
This theatrical presentation brings together three members of the 1812 Alliance in an imagined meeting the day prior to departure from Fort St. Joseph. British officer, Captain Charles Roberts, Sault businessman Charles Oakes Ermatinger and indiginous leader and teacher Shingwaukonse face down the barriers of culture, language and sensibility to defend what each man holds dear against the threat of American invasion.
Approx. 20 minutes. Performed out of doors in the style of 18th century theatre.
